You may have heard that North Korea, yes, North Korea, has been appointed to
the executive board of the World Health Organization (WHO).



Picture this: the same North Korea infamous for its human rights abuses, its
ruthless regime, and its complete disregard for international norms now has a
say in global health policies.



By cozying up to regimes like North Korea, Syria, and China, WHO has proven
that their allegiances lie more in political games than in true public health
concerns.



That’s why I am a cosponsor of the No Taxpayer Funding for the World Health
Organization Act, which doesexactly what its name implies.



John, I want to get your take on the matter. Do you support cutting off U.S.
funding for the hyper-politicized World Health Organization?

If the WHO wants to cozy up to America's enemies and play politics, they can
go ahead, but I don’t want them to receive a single dime from hardworking
American taxpayers.
