Electing Schuyler is an opportunity to maintain, and even expand, Democratic representation in the Virginia State Senate. While we fight to regain control of the State House, it’s critical to stop Republicans from gaining a majority in the Senate to prevent Virginia from becoming the next Florida or Tennessee and passing harmful and discriminatory legislation.

Schuyler is running against an anti-abortion extremist backed by GOP Gov. Glenn Youngkin. Virginia is the last state in the South without post-Roe abortion restrictions. But if we lose a single election this fall, this abortion stronghold could fall.
