The rich don’t need to get richer.

Dear John,

Again and again, extremist politicians prioritize billionaires over people who are just trying to afford the basics. Because of the debt ceiling deal passed by Congress, almost 750,000 older people across the country may lose access to critical support from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), and some families may lose access to the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Program (TANF) due to increased federal work requirements.

And they’re not done.

Tell Congress to Stop Giving Tax Breaks to Billionaires

Families need help. The ultra-wealthy don’t.

TAKE ACTION

Extremist politicians are not stopping their attacks on women and families, and next, they’re turning to extend the Trump-era tax cuts for billionaires and corporations. Make no mistake: conservatives in Congress want to give the wealthy even more.

The debt ceiling deal was a manufactured crisis, and so is this upcoming tax fight. Families shouldn’t have to take hit after hit to their wallets and livelihoods while billionaires get even more tax breaks. Tell your representatives enough is enough.

In solidarity,
