CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR NEWLY ELECTED 2023-25 STATE OFFICERS
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK, — JUNE 6, 2023 – Oklahoma State Democratic delegates elected new leadership this past weekend at their State Convention. They re-elected Alicia Andrews of Tulsa as the 2023-2025 Oklahoma Democratic Party Chair with 81% of the votes.
Andrews, a local Realtor and former Tulsa County Democratic Party Secretary, was first elected as the first African American in Oklahoma history to chair any political party in 2019. Her re-election is another historic first as the first African American to serve three consecutive terms. Read more...
BETO O'ROURKE KEYNOTES CARL ALBERT DINNER TO SOLD OUT ATTENDANCE
The Honorable Beto O'Rourke kicked off the Carl Albert Dinner & Awards evening with an inspring speech that brought several standing ovations to our Democrats and a sold out crowd!

We can't thank our breakout speakers enough for speaking to our Democrats and training the next generation on issues and how to offer candidate support.
DELEGATES FROM ALL OVER THE STATE CONVENED TO ELECT STATE OFFICERS AND CONDUCT PARTY BUSINESS
Hundreds of our delegates from all over Oklahoma met on Sunday, June 4th, to elect state officers and conduct Party business. Ken Martin, DNC Vice Chair, ASDC President, and Minnesota DFL Chair, keynoted our day of business with more inspiring messages to not give up, continue the hard work, and celebrate our wins one step at a tiime. Once again, those in attendance welcomed Chairman Martin with multiple standing ovations!

OKLAHOMA DEMOCRATS PASS MOTION TO CHANGE THE DEMOCRATIC EMBLEM ON BALLOTS TO THE DONKEY
New business for the convention included consideration to change the Democratic emblem on our state ballots from the rooster to the donkey. A motion was made to choose from the bull moose, kestrel, or donkey. The Donkey won with overwhelming results, and Oklahomans will see an update to our ballots for the 2024 Presidential election.
