Site Selection Magazine named Kentucky as #1 in the south-central region—jumping ahead of Tennessee and Texas—for their 2023 Prosperity Cup, which ranks state-level economic development competitiveness.

This ranking reinforces what we already knew — under Andy Beshear’s leadership Kentucky is the best place to do business. And it's not shocking to see why Site Selection Magazine ranked us #1. Since Andy took office, Kentucky has:

🔹 Achieved the longest period of the lowest unemployment rate in its history

🔹 Had its two best economic years on record

🔹 Become the electric vehicle battery capital of the United States

🔹 And secured more than 850 private-sector new location and expansion projects, and created 54,000 new jobs!
