Things in the General Assembly are ramping up with less than a month left to get important legislation through Leg. Hall. Throughout session, our legislators have showcased just what Democratic leadership can accomplish for working people.
Since January when the session was gaveled in, Democrats have led the way in passing legislation that legalized and regulated recreational marijuana, required insurance plans to provide coverage for the lifesaving autoinjectors (like EpiPens), and ensured that Delaware’s presidential electors honor the results of our elections. Our work’s not done yet though and Democrats will be working diligently in the coming weeks to address the climate crisis, end gun violence, and much more.
In 2022’s elections we were able to solidify our majorities in both chambers of the General Assembly largely thanks to your support, and were looking to protect and expand our majorities even more in 2024.
