[ [link removed] ]GOP Sen. Gardner Has Avoided Colorado Constituents Since 2017
Who cares?
That’s the question at the heart of every election. In Colorado’s Senate
race, the answer is clear.
Over the last 12 months, Andrew has been meeting with voters and answering
questions in coffee shops, backyards and living rooms across the state.
We’ve heard from students pleading for climate action, patients struggling
with medical bills, families devastated by gun violence.
None of that seems to matter to Cory Gardner. In vote after vote, he’s
made his loyalties plain—Colorado takes a back seat to Washington.
But Gardner’s not the only one ignoring his constituents.
Six months ago, a group of party bosses and powerbrokers in DC persuaded
John Hickenlooper to abandon his doomed presidential bid and accept a
consolation prize. Having told Coloradans he wasn’t cut out for the Senate
and would hate the job, Hick has been doing everything he can to prove it.
Hickenlooper has skipped 15 debates so far—disrespecting not only his
Democratic opponents but also veterans, college students, climate
activists, and the NAACP, among other organizations. Hick’s counting on
millions of outside dollars to buy the nomination instead.
Colorado deserves better.
We already have a senator who avoids the public and dodges the press.
Let’s replace Cory Gardner with a leader who cares enough to show up.
