John, we’re not even halfway through the year and already, the GOP has wreaked havoc on our democracy. Here a just a few things they’ve done right here in NC:

1. The NC GOP supermajority passed an atrocious 12 week abortion ban, stripping vulnerable families of their right to choose.
2. The far-right passed legislation that loosened gun safety laws – putting the gun lobby ahead of the safety of our communities.
3. And now the GOP is targeting vulnerable Democrat seats to strengthen their supermajority and pass even more restrictive policies at the expense of North Carolinians. John, we can’t let that happen.

The only way to stop the GOP’s attacks is by uplifting truly progressive candidates we trust to represent us. But if we don’t have an influx of donations to support and elect these Democrats to office, we won’t be able to pass progressive policies our community desperately needs. Even worse – our state could fall to more of the GOP’s extremist actions.
