John — North Carolina Republicans have abandoned teachers, working families, and state employees in their proposed budget.

Instead of securing resources for communities that need them, including for our public education system, the GOP prioritized boosting the wealthiest among us.

Right now, our state has a revenue surplus . This is the perfect time to give hardworking public school teachers the raises they deserve, address the mental health crisis, create job training opportunities, and more — as Governor Cooper’s proposed budget does.

If you agree that North Carolina’s lawmakers should invest in the PEOPLE, add your name here to oppose the GOP’s budget >>> [[link removed]]

John, trickle-down tax cuts just don’t work.

Giving a break to the wealthy doesn’t solve the real problems facing North Carolinians — from a lack of rural health care options to a public school teacher shortage.

What does work is putting public tax dollars back into our communities and giving folks the opportunities they need to succeed.

That’s why we CAN’T allow the GOP’s disastrous budget to take effect. Add your name to Roy’s petition here if you agree >>> [[link removed]]
