Trump’s disastrous tax bill exploded our federal deficit -- and now he’s trying to balance the budget on the backs of seniors and the most vulnerable among us:
Gutting Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid would be devastating for the millions of Americans who rely on these programs. It would mean more senior citizens in poverty, and less low-income families getting the health care they need.
Hard-working Americans pay into these programs with every paycheck -- and they should be able to count on the help that our government has promised them.
Our House majority is our best defense against Trump and the GOP’s ongoing assault on these life-saving programs. Will you chip in today help defend this battleground seat and protect our Democratic majority?
My right-wing opponent has said outright that she will not fight to protect Social Security and Medicare on behalf of the people she seeks to represent.
If she succeeds in taking this seat, that’s one less check preventing Trump’s cruel agenda from becoming a reality.
