Today’s ruling means the voice of Black Alabama voters will not be silenced.

John –

I've got some really great news to share with you! The U.S. Supreme Court has just struck down Alabama's district map for the U.S. House of Representatives in a ruling released today in the case Allen v. Milligan.

This is a huge win for democracy, for fair representation, and for the more than one million Black voters that would have been silenced by this map. We're grateful to the voting rights groups who fought hard to protect the voice of Alabama voters.

For too long, politicians have been playing dirty by gerrymandering district maps to protect their own power, which has made it really difficult for communities of color to have their voices heard. Thanks to this decision, the voice of every Alabaman will count, and every vote will matter.

Plus, it's a clear message to politicians that they cannot manipulate communities to their advantage.

But we can't stop here. There's still so much work to be done to ensure that our democracy is truly fair and just. And that's where you come in.

In a healthy democracy, the voices of voters cannot be silenced. We need your help to make that a reality. Whether it's a small donation or a big one, every dollar counts, and your support will make a real difference in this fight.

John, are you in? Can we count on your support?

Thanks so much for your commitment to making our democracy better and more just for everyone.

Cheers!
