Biden has continued to put the Left’s climate agenda over the wellbeing of Americans. He has suspended oil and gas leases on public lands, canceled the Keystone XL pipeline, ordered all federal agencies to prioritize “environmental justice <[link removed]>,” laid groundwork for banning gas stoves, and more.

Next on the chopping block are your gas cars and trucks. At Biden’s direction, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued a regulation that will reduce gas powered cars and trucks to just 33% of the new car market by model year 2032. This would make electric vehicles (EVs) 67% of the new car market which is an 11x increase from what it is now!

- Cars and trucks will become less affordable: At the end of 2022, electric vehicles were on average $11,981 more expensive <[link removed]> than gas-powered cars.
- No more summer road trips: The average range of EVs is 170 miles shorter <[link removed]> than the average range of a gas powered car, making long-distance traveling harder.
- Power shortages: States across the country face power outages due to an outdated power grid infrastructure. <[link removed]> Biden’s regulation would put tremendous additional stress on an already overburdened electrical grid by increasing the need for changing stations and the likelihood of increased blackouts.
- More jobs move offshore: The lithium and other rare earth metals needed for EV batteries are primarily sourced from China, our most dangerous political rival. Additionally, 56% or more <[link removed]> of EV car batteries are produced by just six Communist Chinese Corporations.



Cars and trucks are not just a symbol of American ingenuity, they are essential to many Americans’ daily lives. People should have the option to choose which vehicle works best for them. But this regulation would deprive Americans of making those choices, leaving you with limited, expensive, and inadequate transportation options.

Submitting a comment will send a message to the Biden Administration that the American people will not tolerate these restrictions. In the past, comments have been able to force the administration to rescind proposed regulations.
