NUI Certificate in Youth Arts now open for applications
Our new NUI Certificate in Youth Arts is now open for applications. We’re delighted to be partnering with Maynooth University to deliver this exciting new Level 7 NUI Certificate. This part-time programme runs from October 2023 – May 2024 and is designed for anyone working in non-formal education, and looking to learn more about the concepts, principles and practice of youth arts.

ECO-UNESCO: Young Environmentalist Awards
ECO-UNESCO's Young Environmentalist Awards Finals and Showcase took place on Friday, the 26th of May. It was a fantastic day with over 1000 attendees at the Convention Centre Dublin. Congratulations to all the winners, especially our Super Juniors from Ronanstown Youth Service, who won the Best Display Award.

IAYO: Irish Youth Baroque Orchestra
Some of Ireland’s finest young string, wind, and harpsichord musicians have been selected to play in this year’s Irish Youth Baroque Orchestra which will culminate in a concert taking place in St Ann’s Church, Dawson Street, Dublin on Saturday, 22 July 2023. Tickets are €15 / €10 concessions and will be available on the door of the venue

Teenpath study survey
Shona Lee, a postdoctoral researcher at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, is leading the Teenpath COVID research study, which is collecting responses from young people aged 16-25 about their mental health and well-being since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

To mark European Mental Health week, Fingal Libraries have recorded 2 podcasts with psychotherapist Amber Roche. The first one deals with common mental health issues and the second one covers everyday tips for good mental health.

Applications are open for the Ideas Collective, STAND’s summer boot camp for changemakers. We take students and recent graduates on a three-month journey of training, experiential learning and coaching to help you develop the mindsets, confidence, and practical tools to develop action-focused projects for positive change.

ICCL: Working with Victims of Crime
The Irish Council for Civil Liberties will be hosting a free day of training for professionals and volunteers who work with victims of crime in two locations in Ireland; in Limerick on Thursday 22 June 2023, and in Dublin on Thursday 29 June 2023.
