*What:* The MSP is inviting the media to attend the graduation ceremony for the
143rd Trooper Recruit School. Members of the media should be prepared
to provide valid press credentials.
During the ceremony, the 46 recruits will be sworn in as MSP
troopers by Col. Joe Gasper, director of the MSP. The keynote
speaker is Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.
Upon graduation, the new troopers will report to their assigned MSP posts
across the state. See attached pdf for assignment list.
Recruits and their family members will be available for interviews
immediately following the ceremony (approximately 1:45 p.m.).
