Liberals have already put millions of dollars into the campaign of liberal Democrat challenger Colin Allred and a University of Texas poll shows the race is within single digits, with Cruz at 42% and Allred at 37%.
Roll Call has moved this Senate race from "Safe Republican" to "Battleground" and Congressional Quarterly has rated Ted Cruz one of the 10 most vulnerable Senators in this election cycle.  We can't fall behind in our efforts to defeat the Democrat campaign to steal away this U.S. Senate seat.
