Just last week, we witnessed more gun violence on Memorial Day in Hollywood Beach, Florida. Gun violence is constant and heart-breaking.
Last weekend, we wore orange to remind people—especially Republicans in government who continue to ignore the problem—of how critical it is that we curb the impact of senseless gun violence
That’s why we’re asking you to recommit by signing our petition TODAY to show that our supporters are sticking with us in this fight.
When Democrats had a slim majority in the House, they passed the first meaningful gun violence prevention measures
in years. Now that the GOP is controlling the House, the many bills Democrats introduce on the subject, including the banning of assault weapons, are being ignored while Republicans continue to bow to the gun lobby.
Our communities, our families, our children... they are all in danger by their inaction. The best way to protect our safety is by electing more Democrats in 2024, period!
