To magnify its original ethos of celebrating beauty and empowering women, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics partnered with activist and actress Yara Shahidi to launch the Pretty Powerful Fund. In 2019, Urgent Action Fund for Women’s Human Rights was one of three organizations that were named near and dear to Yara’s heart to join the Pretty Powerful Fund.

Bobbi Brown featured Urgent Action Fund to highlight our critical work supporting feminist activists and movements around the world. Every day of the year, UAF is there with rapid support when activists are poised to make great gains or face serious threats to their lives and work.
