John - Mike Pence, the former Vice President, has officially announced his bid for President. While many are clamoring to see a showdown between Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and Trump, do not underestimate the ability Pence has to carry the nomination.

This is urgent - we cannot let Mike Pence win the White House in 2024. Chip in $10 to ensure we reach rural voters far and wide.

Cable pundits and rightwing media may have us convinced that Pence cannot win, but do not be fooled. Pence's status as former VP, along with his more serious, policy-driven focus makes him a serious threat. While DeSantis and Trump are aggressive in their culture-war soapbox, Mike Pence is viewed as the "adult in the room," with the ability to get sweeping (and devastating) legislation pushed through Congress and the White House. 

Recall that Pence has not shied away from mentioning his wants for a total federal abortion ban and religious theocracy as the ruling principle. Also, remember the dark money that follows religious groups and those that see through candidates to the very end for their own insidious purposes.
