According to reporting in Votebeat Arizona, Mohave County is considering a plan to hand count all ballots in next year’s elections — despite warnings from the secretary of state and election officials that hand-counting ballots would be costly, inaccurate and likely illegal. [link removed]
A package of voting reforms is awaiting action from Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D). The reforms include allowing teenagers to pre-register to vote and expanding the number of vote centers (where anyone can vote regardless of precinct) in populous areas. [link removed]
