In this year alone, Republicans in the Arizona Senate passed multiple anti-LGBTQ+ bills, attacking drag performers, trans people, and young kids struggling with their identities.

Kirsten Engel believes that no one should be punished for who they love or how they identify. We should celebrate our diversity, not try to destroy it.

This Pride Month, we're calling on Congress to introduce and pass the Equality Act, which would prevent discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity nationwide. These protections could not be more important or timely.
