Howdy John,
It hasn't even been 72 hours since we launched The 546 Project and Colorado Republicans are already leaning into their cruel and weird scare tactics.
MAGA extremists have leaned into their conspiracy theories and accused The 546 Project of trying to "groom and indoctrinate children into their woke transgender agenda" and of being an effort to “unscrupulously harvest votes.”
Lauren Boebert herself issued the following statement about The 546 Project: “There is no doubt Democrats will give their all to steal this seat.”
So let’s be very clear on what The 546 Project is: It’s an initiative to build a year-round grassroots organizing and engagement infrastructure in Colorado's 3rd Congressional District. We’ll do this by meeting with voters on the ground, hearing out their concerns, and working to ensure they have candidates to choose from who will address their priorities — not seek fame and self-promotion, or attempt to dehumanize any member of our rural communities.
Colorado Republicans may call our efforts “harvesting votes” or seat stealing, but we call it grassroots organizing. And we’ll be doing it for the next 17 months in towns all across Colorado, including those in Lauren Boebert’s district.
And let’s be very clear about something else: radical extremists are responding to this project because they know that when Democrats organize, we win. We have successfully spooked them, but now it’s time to actually get to work.
If you want to join our efforts to defeat Lauren Boebert and engage voters in CO’s 3rd Congressional District, chip in $5.46 today >>
Thank you,
The CDP
