[1]Bowman for Congress
John,
My colleagues in the GOP are threatening to strip funding from New York
public schools just for considering providing temporary shelter for
migrants.
And when I called out the racist rhetoric they're using, including the
white supremacist “great replacement theory,” they cut me off in the
middle of a committee meeting — banging the gavel nine times to interrupt
me.

John, this is a
pattern. Republicans are introducing bills that disproportionately target
migrants, Black people, and other minorities. They use language that
directly plays into racist conspiracy theories and bigoted tropes. And
when Black and brown members of Congress call that out, we get cut off.
But they can't stop me from speaking truth to power, and I'll keep calling
out right-wing bigotry in the House of Representatives.
