Fellow Democrats,
Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and his close family received two decades of lavish trips and gifts from GOP mega-donor Harlan Crow. Yet Thomas neither disclosed most of these gifts nor recused himself from cases where his “friend’s” interests were before the Court.
Nearly two months after ProPublica brought the first of this corruption to light, Thomas has not resigned, and the GOP still refuses to support holding Thomas accountable or establishing a firm code of conduct for the Court.
Defending the corrupt is just part of a game to the GOP.
