ADL’s G100 Survey of 10 European Countries Shows High Antisemitic Attitudes
The latest data from The ADL Global 100: An Index of Antisemitism™ survey found that roughly one in four people across 10 European countries harbor antisemitic attitudes. ADL has been conducting the survey since 2014 to monitor antisemitic attitudes around the world.
Russia and Spain topped the list of countries with the largest populations believing in classic antisemitic tropes, and one out of three respondents in six Western European countries believe that Jews are more loyal to Israel than to their home countries. The largest decline in antisemitic attitudes was in Ukraine, which went from 46 percent in 2019 to 29 percent in 2023, potentially driven in part by the popularity of the country’s Jewish president, Volodymyr Zelensky.
