Folks, the weather is warming up, the kids are out of school, and the smell of grilling is in the air — summer is upon us!

There are so many positives to which we can look forward; for example, we get to celebrate LGBTQ+ pride and summer holidays with friends and family … but there are also some negatives, like searing heat waves and sandal tan lines.

No matter what, summer brings with it unique issues and concerns for communities across Illinois.
