This weekend the City of Fairfax hosted a pride event to make it clear our community welcomes all individuals, regardless of gender, or sexuality. Sadly, a few individuals showed up to protest the event with baseless, hateful, allegations about the LGBTQ+ community.

Ordinarily, I wouldn't give these people any more attention. But when we saw the photos, there was a familiar face with a hate sign: my recent opponent Jim Myles! This is the type of man Republicans run for Congress these days, and him showing up at hateful protests was par for the course in 2022.

This is what we're up against in 2023, Republicans are aiming to get a foothold in our schools and in state and local government. That's why we need your help to defeat them this year [[link removed]] , Anyone who would show up to a peaceful Pride event with that sign has no business in public office.
