Happy Pride Month! As part of our monthlong celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community, we wanted to highlight an opportunity for lawyers to help advance and defend trans rights. See below for more details!

We have more than 90 legal projects that need your help:

	1—5 HOURS Join Effort to Advance and Defend Trans Rights Transgender Law Center Lawyers are needed for a variety of projects to empower the trans community, work to change anti-trans laws and policies, and educate the trans community about their rights, Time commitments vary, and training and mentorship is provided. This is a remote opportunity, and lawyers may be barred in any state.
	21+ HOURS Help Afghan Immigrants Avoid Deportation VECINA Lawyers are needed to prepare an asylum application on behalf of an Afghan national facing deportation, prepare the client for the asylum interview, and attend the asylum interview with the client. Training and mentorship is provided. This is a remote opportunity, and lawyers may be barred in any state.
	11—20 HOURS Help Overturn Unjust Insurance Denials People's Action Institute Help insurance policyholders with unjust claim denials navigate the process of appealing the decision, communicating with the insurance company and review boards, filling out insurance appeals forms, and more. Training is provided. This is a remote opportunity, and lawyers may be barred in any state.
	11—20 HOURS Help Reproductive Rights Org Draft Data Sharing Agreement The Forefront Project A nonprofit dedicated to defending reproductive rights, health, and justice needs a lawyer to draft a data sharing agreement to help the organization share data with allied groups while complying with applicable laws. This is a remote opportunity, and lawyers may be barred in any state.
