Over the weekend, MAGA darling Lauren Boebert released a statement claiming she refused to vote on the debt ceiling bill as a form of “protest.”

Well, it turns out that was a complete lie. CNN footage exposed Boebert actually running late to catch the vote in time, and then missing it. As she sprinted up the stairs, she was informed the vote had been closed.

Each day, MAGA Republicans like Boebert find new ways to lie to the American people. Now, they’re doing it to cover for their own incompetence.

Boebert is completely unfit to serve, but the good news is she’s vulnerable in 2024. She won re‑election with less than 1,000 votes, and flipping her seat would be a game‑changer in winning back a Democratic majority in the House.
