Why It's Important
Israel’s admission into the VWP is an important and necessary step to strengthen the U.S.-Israel relationship.
Admitting Israel into the program would enable Israelis to travel to America for tourism or business for up to 90 days without first obtaining a visa, just as nationals from 39 countries are currently able to do.
