Elections are coming up!

Want to get involved with 🌈 GLASS?

You should run for the Steering Committee! We're happy to chat if you have any questions or would like to learn more (see links at end of newsletter for our email addresses).

✅ What you need to do:
* Candidate declaration statement:
+ Submit your name and office
+ Short paragraph explaining:
o 1) Why you'd like to serve on the Steering Committee
o 2) What you'd like to see GLASS accomplish
+ Send them to [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]?subject=Candidate%20Declaration%20Statement)
* Pay your dues ([link removed]) (if you haven't already) 😬
+ Venmo: @GLASS-Caucus
+ Paypal ([link removed])

Important dates:
* February 17 @ midnight: Candidacy declaration deadline
* February 18 - February 25: Voting period (more details to come)

💡 NOTA BENE: In order to serve on the Steering Committee and vote in the election, you must be a current U.S. Senate employee and have paid dues for the 2020 calendar year. Feel free to reach out to our treasurer, Hans Hansen (mailto:[email protected]) , if you have any questions.

As the Senate's official, nonpartisan and nonprofit LGBTQ staff association, visibility is crucial and we strongly encourage all to run.
