Imagine living in a California
where you never have to worry about having access to healthy and
dignified housing you could afford.
Imagine a California where you knew
that you and your neighbors would be secure, rooted and stably housed;
where our seniors and veterans could comfortably age in peace and
where our children could reach their full potential by having a secure
home to grow up in.
Imagine a California without a
housing crisis. Making housing a human right with ACA
10 can help make this happen.

A right to housing is not just symbolic. When we amend the California constitution
to assert the legal right to housing, it obligates state and local
governments to respect, protect and fulfill this right for its people.
This means the government must work progressively to build and
preserve affordable housing, as well as pass policies to ensure
everyone in California has access to secure, healthy housing. It means
that the government’s need to build dramatically more affordable
housing would no longer be just a goal, but a constitutional
obligation.

vote yes on ACA 10!

usted y sus vecinos estarían seguros, establecidos con una vivienda
permanente; donde nuestros adultos mayores y veteranos puedan
envejecer cómodamente en paz y donde nuestros hijos puedan alcanzar su
máximo potencial al tener un hogar seguro para crecer.
Imagine una California sin una
crisis de vivienda. La ACA 10 puede ayudar a que esto
suceda! Puede hacer que la vivienda sea un derecho humano
constitucionalmente.

El derecho a la vivienda no es sólo
simbólico. Cuando enmendamos
