MAGA Republican Anna Paulina Luna just announced on former Trump advisor
Steve Bannon’s podcast that her resolution to censure and potentially fine
me $16 million could come to a vote tomorrow in the House of
Representatives — with the support of House Speaker Kevin McCarthy.

him.”

Bannon: “And that has the backing of leadership.”

Luna: “Yes, we’re working on the bill right now.”

Bannon: “Great work. Fantastic…The Shifty Schiff thing tomorrow is gonna be
historic.”

Luna: “Yeah, he’s gonna go down as a liar. As he should.”

If this vote proceeds and Republicans succeed in censuring me, it will be
one of the most blatantly authoritarian measures that they have taken yet,
meant to crack down on any dissent.

I took on Trump and impeached him, obtaining the first bipartisan vote to
remove a president in history. Now, MAGA Republicans are exacting
political revenge by trying to censure and fine me millions of dollars —
because they believe I have been too effective in exposing their
corruption.

The authors of the Big Lie seek to condemn me for telling the truth. And
the precedent this would set for the House of Representatives and
constitutional representation would be disastrous: That the majority party
can intimidate and silence any member that’s willing to stand up to a
corrupt president and defend our democracy.
