On June 6, 1944, Allied forces began an incredibly arduous journey after landing on the beaches of Normandy: their march to liberate France from Nazi Germany, signaling the beginning of the end of Hitler’s regime. Tomorrow, we celebrate the 79th anniversary of this historic moment in World War II.

Please, take our D-Day quiz today to learn more about the immense sacrifices troops made to protect our freedoms during World War II.

D-Day is one of the most pivotal moments in our nation’s and the world’s history, and we should be proud of our troops for all their strength and sacrifice nearly eight decades ago. Today, so many of our freedoms are secured because of the relentless courage and ingenuity of the Allied fighting forces of World War II. In honor of those who gave so much, we’ve put together a quick quiz about this historic day 79 years ago. Will you test your knowledge now?

Thank you for honoring them.
