Our campaign took an important step this weekend, John...we started knocking on doors!
I spent Saturday door knocking and talking with voters. On Sunday I met voters while riding in the Balboa Island Parade.
It was a fun weekend! We convinced voters to join our side, but this is just the beginning...
We are building an ambitious plan to knock on THOUSANDS of doors between now and Election Day...

The truth is, one of the most effective ways to engage with voters and spread our message is face-to-face conversations with our neighbors.
That's why we're going to be organizing door-knocking events in neighborhoods all over the 47th District. ([link removed])
I wouldn't be asking for your time if I didn't believe that knocking on just ONE door and meeting just ONE voter could be a game changer.
If you sign up to volunteer, we'll reach out the next time there's an event near you. If you can make it, we'll make sure you have everything you need to have a fun and successful experience.
