House Republicans just passed a bill to retroactively charge student loan borrowers interest on their paused payments, repeal President Biden’s plan to relieve up to $20,000 in student debt for borrowers, and claw back aid from public servants.
This latest GOP attack on student debt relief is a slap in the face to 43 MILLION Americans with student loan debt.
We should be helping Americans struggling with student debt, not making their problems worse.
