Last week, Democrats stepped up for the good of the nation to pass the Bipartisan Budget Agreement. But that still hasn’t stopped Republicans like Lauren Boebert from lying to the American people to save face.
Boebert was absent during the debt ceiling vote because, by her account, “I was ticked off they [Democrats] wouldn’t let me do my job, so I didn’t take the vote.”
But unfortunately for Lauren, the receipts just don’t lie — recent news footage shows her running up the steps of Capitol Hill just moments after the doors closed for the debt ceiling vote.
While Eric and his colleagues were on the House floor avoiding a catastrophic default, Boebert couldn’t even be bothered to show up on time to protect the livelihoods of millions of Americans.
Friend, this is the same story we’ve seen played out by MAGA Republicans countless times: They’ll do less than the bare minimum, all while taking their megaphone to whatever media outlet will give them the time of day. It’s pathetic.
We need leaders like Eric who are actually willing to show up and get things done for our nation — even when it means making tough compromises. Will you pitch in a few bucks so we can get these MAGA clowns out of office and protect real leadership in 2024?
