Here are some legislative updates from today and yesterday.
The Connecticut Legislature passed a state budget that includes the Connecticut Voting Rights Act. The bill heads to Gov. Ned Lamont (D) for his signature. [link removed]
The New York Senate passed a bill that would require the state to join a voter data maintenance organization, such as ERIC, by July 2025. The bill now heads to the New York Assembly. The move stands in contrast to a wave of Republican-led states that have left ERIC due to election conspiracies. [link removed]

Tomorrow, the House Committee on Administration and Oversight will hold a hearing on Washington, D.C.'s election practices.
