Join us in Nashville on Saturday, September 23! ([link removed])
From war across the globe to regulating speech to printing trillions of dollars, the American regime accepts no limits on its power. As Ludwig von Mises understood, the state will take as much power as the people will let it, and in recent years the American regime has clearly concluded it can get away with unilaterally adopting vast new powers.
Join the Mises Institute in Nashville for an event inspired by this siege of power and one of Ron Paul's favorite lines: truth is treason in the empire of lies.
We will be joined by a group of brave speakers who have dedicated their careers to rejecting the regime's propaganda at personal cost: Ted Galen Carpenter ([link removed]) , Michael Rectenwald ([link removed]) , Karen Kwiatkowski ([link removed]) , and Jonathan Newman ([link removed]) . Carpenter will cover the national security state's global growth and the drive for a new, endless cold war. Rectenwald will examine how the regime seeks to control our schools, our families, and even our speech by denouncing everything it dislikes as "hate." Kwiatkowski will discuss corrupt political influence on military intelligence. Newman will explore how the Federal Reserve has taken on vast new powers to manipulate markets, prop up government spending, and enrich favored elites.
This event is not for those content with the comfortable narrative peddled by the corporate press but for those interested in understanding the true face of the American regime.
The event will take place at the Grand Hyatt ([link removed]) in Nashville. Registration is $95 per person for Mises Members and $125 per person for Non-Members, and includes a catered lunch. The event will begin at 11:00 a.m. and conclude at 3:00 p.m.
There will be a social hour after with our speakers after the event and an open bar. Tickets are $50 per person.
Other registration options include $1,500 for seating at a speaker table for the entire event or $5,000 for seating at a speaker table for the entire event, a hotel room at the Grand Hyatt for Friday and Saturday nights, and acknowledgement/listing as an event Host.
