Team — There have been several major developments about the Wisconsin Senate race in the last few weeks, so we wanted to break it down for you:

FIRST: Far-right Congressman Tom Tiffany told reporters he was eyeing a campaign to challenge Tammy’s Senate seat, hinting strongly at an announcement over the summer.

THEN: A poll came out showing Congressman Mike Gallagher, who is national Republicans’ preferred candidate in the Wisconsin Senate race, just one point behind Tammy. 

NOW: Our second public fundraising deadline of the year is just a few weeks away, and all eyes are on us. Everyone, especially Mitch McConnell and his wealthy megadonors, are going to look at how much grassroots support Tammy’s campaign has — and will pounce if they see any signs of weakness.
