The Numbers: In three consecutive polls, it shows that Heidi has been closing the gap against her conservative primary opponent, State Senator Dave Marsden (who has been in office for more than 17 years). The latest polling predicts a close race (Heidi at 29% - Marsden 34%) with a two-point shift in Heidi’s direction from the last round – and the race is now within the margin of error.

This is big news, but she needs our help to close that gap and win this thing.

During his time in office, her opponent has made a name for himself as a politician who votes against the best interests of ZOO ANIMALS in Virginia. Additionally, he has a record of questionable ethics towards corporations – and has accepted over $1M from corporations throughout his career.
