John, just last week, I was proud to join Bernie Sanders and other NC Democrats at a rally fighting for raising the minimum wage – the very rally the NC GOP criticized. No attacks from the GOP will ever make me feel less proud of standing up for all communities across North Carolina.
Because the truth is that every day, low wage workers from all communities are living paycheck to paycheck. And the high costs of living and lack of healthcare are not helping ease the burden black and brown communities face.
