Dear JOhn,
Today is #SaferInternetDay and we’ve partnered with our friends, actors and activists, Laura and Vanessa Marano, to create a fun and educational quiz about how to stay safe online.

The internet can be a place for community, self expression and discovery, but it can also have a darker side. Everyone has a right to be safe on and offline - no matter what content has been shared by you or by others about you.

Safer Internet Day aims to create both a safer and a better internet, where everyone is empowered to use technology responsibly, respectfully, critically and creatively. This is particularly important as the instances of online sexual exploitation are increasing. Equality Now is working with governments, civil society and tech companies to explore and create solutions that protect those vulnerable to exploitation.

Today, we celebrate the positive power of the internet, but we also recognize its risks. If we join together for a safer internet, we can make the most of its potential.
In solidarity,
