It’s great to meet you! My name is Ali Monge, and I’m the Executive Director and President of Women for American Values and Ethics (WAVE). We’re a grassroots organization dedicated to advancing our progressive values and ethics through education, training, advocacy, rapid response action, and partnerships.

When Joanna founded WAVE, I was with her every step of the way. I saw firsthand how tireless, fearless, and selfless she was in leading our organization, taking care of our members and our mission, and growing our fledgling group of 21 women into a movement with more than 2,000 followers and a volunteer force logging hundreds of hours every single election season. She did all this as a volunteer – and with integrity, grit, and grace. Wouldn’t you want someone like that to represent you in Congress?
Joanna is a powerhouse. While at WAVE, she kept up her community-based pro bono legal work fighting for our community members in need, including domestic violence survivors, seniors on fixed incomes, and special needs students. There is no one more dedicated to making life better for Orange County families.
