Mike Pence is announcing that he’s running for president, but here’s the thing: he’s never going to win.

This week has been a never-ending slew of candidate announcements of one after another extreme Republican hopeful who will never even make it out of Super Tuesday, and Mike Pence is just the latest to not break 10% in Iowa.

Doug Bergum, Chris Christie, and Mike Pence – none of them will win the Republican nomination. They’re all distractions.

Every poll has shown the same thing: Donald Trump is going to be the GOP nominee.

We’re realists. We have to be. Donald Trump will almost certainly be the Republican nominee for president next year, and we have to work every single day like he will be the nominee.

And frankly, we’re worried. With donations down and our grassroots team growing complacent, we aren’t sure that we’ll have what it takes to fight back against Donald Trump. He’s dangerous, and if we underestimate him – if we don’t take him seriously from the very beginning – we WILL lose. So please, focus on the real threat, and donate right now to support us as we take on Donald Trump in Georgia.

We need to act like Donald Trump is the nominee because polls are showing he WILL be the nominee.

And if he’s the nominee, then we’ll be up against a dangerous opponent whose election could spell disaster for our democracy.
