Recent events in Ohio have exposed alarming anti-democratic tactics that extreme legislators employ to undermine the voices and rights of Ohioans like never before.

Ohio legislators have put Issue 1 on the ballot that, if passed, would allow only 40 percent of Ohioans to dictate policy for the remaining 60 percent. This anti-democratic maneuver silences the will of voters, subverts majority rule, and is a direct threat to our democracy.
