John,

Healthy salmon runs benefit people and animals across the state – from the Upper Columbia River to the marine waters of the Salish Sea. Since time immemorial, Indigenous people have and continue to rely on salmon for physical and cultural sustenance.

Now, the health of salmon is at stake. The four lower Snake River dams remain a threat to salmon extinction, as well as the people and animals that rely on them. We have a chance to show the federal government overwhelming public support for salmon restoration and recovery.

On May 4, the Biden administration launched a public comment period to gather feedback on Columbia River salmon and other native fish restoration.

Join supporters from across the country and tell the Biden administration to breach the four lower Snake River dams [[link removed]]—and replace the services they provide—as a comprehensive solution to bring endangered salmon, steelhead and orca back to abundance and uphold the federal government’s legally-binding commitments to Northwest Tribal Nations.

A recent NOAA report [[link removed]] concluded that breaching the lower Snake River dams is “essential” and must be a “centerpiece action” to recover endangered Columbia River salmon and steelhead.

Help us reach 10,000 public comments to remove the dams and restore the salmon! [[link removed]]

Thank you for taking action,
