Get in touch with me, I want to hear from you.Hi John,

I’m Anki, and I’ve recently started at HOPE not hate as the community response
coordinator. My job is to help people in communities who want to take a stand
against the far right.

This might mean keeping them updated on the state of the far right threat,
giving them advice on keeping safe and secure online or helping them organise
events that show the far right that they are not welcome in the community.

I’ve been developing a set of guides and “how-tos” to help organisations and
individuals understand the threat, shape local narratives, build community
responses to the far right , and much more.

I think you’ll get a lot from them, why not check them out?

See the resources [[link removed]]We’ve worked with organisations across the refugee and women’s sectors to
develop these resources because I wanted to make sure we were giving people the most accurate and
effective advice possible to build their confidence in fighting the far right.

A strong community response can see off the far-right, like in Llantwit Major in Wales
[[link removed]] , where the community rallied together and stood up to fascist group Patriotic
Alternative. This story is a beacon of hope, and a shining example of an
anti-fascist response done right.

We were pleased to provide some help with developing messaging and providing
vital intelligence on the far right from our research team. I was lucky enough
to meet Richard, who helped to organise Llantwit Major’s 24 hours of action, at
our 100 Years of Anti-fascism event. Richard kindly thanked HOPE not hate for
our practical advice and support.

If you’re reading this and are from somewhere facing a threat from the far
right, then I want you to know that there are things I can do to help . From providing up-to-date information on planned far-right activity, helping
to brief the local media report responsibly, helping to organise solidarity
events, delivering training and speaking at community meetings, I can make sure you respond positively and effectively .

All you need to do is get in touch with me, John.

But for now, why not take a look at these great new resources
[[link removed]] .

See the resources [[link removed]]Finally, we know that the far right are still trying to sow seeds of discontent
in communities.

Work like mine can’t be done without the generosity and solidarity shown by
supporters like you . If you have the means and are able to support our work financially, then you
can chip in here

Thanks for your support.
