I’ve always loved June, friend.

The weather is great, kids are out of school, we celebrate Pride,
commemorate Juneteenth, and even recognize Dads on Father’s Day.

Unfortunately, my team tells me June isn’t all sunshine and rainbows.

In fact, June is historically one of the most difficult months when it
comes to online fundraising—and right now, our numbers back that up.

[ [link removed] ]We can’t afford a “summer slump” right after launching our
campaign. So
please, will you rush a $25 donation right away to turn our fundraising
numbers around and help us keep pace with our self-funded, slump-immune,
multi-millionaire opponent?

If you didn’t know, this so-called “summer slump” is when grassroots
campaigns like ours see a sudden and often prolonged drop in their
fundraising numbers during the summer months.

And honestly, it makes a lot of sense, doesn’t it? Folks are logging off
earlier, enjoying the outdoors, and spending more quality time with their
friends and families.

But here’s the (BIG) problem: Summer hasn’t even
officially started yet, and we’re already seeing a drop in our fundraising
numbers here in Maryland.

[ [link removed] ]I wasn’t expecting this—at least not so soon after launching our
campaign. So, can you help us out by chipping in $25 to get us back on
track and win Maryland’s Senate race?

Thanks for your help!
