Editor’s Note: A Second Language, A New Lens

As part of our larger, ongoing effort to amplify all the city’s voices, we introduce City Limits en Español. 

City Limits has over the past three years been translating modest amounts of copy into Spanish, but this new effort represents something different—a step toward a completely bilingual City Limits, where the two languages commingle just as they do on many city blocks.

This will be reporting from a Latino perspective in the Spanish language, with a second life en Ingles.

Case Manager

West Harlem Group Assistance, Inc., a community based development corporation, was established more than 30 years ago to revitalize the under-invested West and Central Harlem communities - riddled with dilapidated and abandoned buildings.

We are seeking a strong Case Manager to identify and implement social services for homeless families, to ensure successful transition into permanent housing as soon as possible.  Reports to the Director of Social Services.
