On behalf of the entire Illinois Republican Party, we are honoring the brave soldiers who stormed the beaches of Normandy, France and liberated the country from the grip of Nazi Germany 79 years ago.
This day is known as D-Day, and we are paying homage to all of the brave Americans who stormed the beaches and ensured that freedom and liberty could prosper for the world.
We can never thank these brave souls enough.
